New residents must obtain Florida license plates
upon establishing legal residency or by the day they begin work in Florida or by
the time they register their children in school.
To register, you must bring:

Valid identification (such
as an out-of-state driver’s license)
Title or proof of
out-of-state financing arrangements
Odometer reading
Proof of personal injury
protection insurance and proof of property damage liability coverage.
